Footprints of Evil/Goodness (Corporeal)
Unfortunately, this isn't a Discord where the
Footprints explode on contact with the Good/Evil, or anything. That could be, well, useful - which is why Vaputech's
Metaphysical Engineering Division (motto: "Half full? Half empty? Why not just work on the glass?") is
trying to come up with something along those lines. They might even succeed, given time; solid
rumor has it that this particular research project is actually one of the more
pleasant ways to commit suicide, so they're actually getting some walk-in test
subjects...
But I digress.
What happens with the Smoking Footprints is that the sufferer leaves a
metaphysical trail behind him, her or itself; said trail is visible to the
Other Side only (so a demon with this Discord leaves a trail visible only to
angels, and vice versa). Each level
allows +1 to all tracking rolls (including Cherub/Djinn resonance rolls); the
trail persists for (sufferer's Corporeal Forces) hours.
Kriotates and Shedim
with any level of this Discord are
immediately recognizable as celestials to the Other Side! And when the human goes one way, and the
celestial goes another, it won't take a genius to figure out the Choir/Band...
Reaction modifier: -1 generally, -1/level during
escape attempts
Cost: 3/level generally; 5/level for Kyriotates/Shedim
