This pic shows some of my survival cutting tools. The two in the middle are the most relied upon now. The hatchet is my 'mini hatchet' that I often talk about. As you can see it isn't very big. It is large enough for light chopping and small enough to be used as a knife if needed. The third tool is a *** Bowie recently given to me by a friend. So far this has been a marvelous survival tool. The blade is ATS34 stainless steel. The blade is wide and thin, hence it has strength, but can also be used as a skinner, etc. It does a good job of chopping when needed too! The top blade is a Camillus USAF Survival Knife. This use to be one of my main knives, but now feels thick and not as useful as the *** Bowie. The bottom tool is an EK Survival/Fighter Half Grind. The handle is one piece with the blade and is wrapped with paracord. It is mostly a fighting knife and doesn't have many other uses.
