The idea for my identity of Poison
Ivy came (once again) from searching around for pictures of the infamous
Harley Quinn.
A villain who was mutated to
control plants (in a way) sounds pretty cool.... seeing as i have no green
thumb at all, it's a bit of a change for me to take on her role.
She's a fave character of mine
for many reasons--she's on the same show as Harley has appeared in and
she's also a villain, she's a well-known charcater unlike some of my other
identities, and my fave reason--her kiss is poison.
Not to mention the fact that
she looks kool and has some weird thing with plants and is, like most villains
from comics, a mutant.
As for her appearances in comics,
I believe that she has disappeared for a time... I am not an avid comic
reader, but siblings and friends are, and I have yet to hear of anything
new about her.
If you live in Canada and get
YTV, you may be able to find something about her reappearance on "The Anti-Gravity
Room". Check your local listings to see when it's on... I sometimes get
my insparations from that show, aside from the fact that they have had
an ongoing obsession with Superman who should have died already imo.
