Equipping for Service
The gospel has been so distorted in the developed western world that many professors of Christianity do not realize that the only kind of invitation Jesus ever gave was for us to lay down our own agenda and come to Him, to take his yoke, learn of Him, and follow Him. Of course, He promised various benefits, but they only come to those who are following Him. This is the gospel we are proclaiming in Mexico, and men are coming to Christ with the expectation of following and serving Him. We are equipping them for service and they are assuming roles of leadership in the churches, taking up the task of preaching the gospel, making disciples, and planting new churches.
