My Tetrahedron Experiment

8/27/99

By Joshua Gulick

I had come across some references to "Pyramid Power" on the net.  It was claimed that pyramid shapes harness or generate some sort of power.  Well, the word "pyramid" means "fire in the middle" (pyra=fire and mid=middle), so I thought, "Hmm... I might as well build one.  I'm not too busy to learn something.  I'll see if there's anything to all this."

here is the tetrahedron I madeWell, I built four tetrahedrons out of copper-plated iron brazing rods.  I super-glued the ends together to form the tets, then covered the joints with aluminum foil to assure conductivity.

I didn't know exactly what I was looking for, but I needn't have worried.  As soon as I had set three of them close together, not touching, but arranged so that they were all aligned and formed a larger 2D equilateral triangle, a strange thing happened.  I started to smell copper fairly strongly in the air.  I could also taste it in the back of my mouth.  The only explaination I could come up with is that the copper plating was ionizing into the air.  My mother verified that she could smell it, also.  This smell continued but varied in intensity at different times.  It seemed to be stronger around dawn and dusk, but I didn't spend all day just smelling it, so I can't say for sure.

This is not all.  I know this will sound really weird, but when I stuck my hand into the tets, I could feel a sort of energy that I don't know how to describe.  It was sort of like electricity, but it felt like it radiated though my flesh.  I would guess that it was of a high frequency.  Again, my mother also felt this energy.  She described it as a small electrical shock.  It was felt most strongly next to the upwards sides of the tets.  Oh, I did have the tets arranged so that the triangle they formed pointed North.  This phenomena was most intese when the copper smell was most intense.

So, there is definately something to all this.  I have proved to myself at least that there tetrahedrons can produce some quite interesting and unexplained effects.  And this was just with tets!  According to the literature, the octahedral pyramid shape is much better at harnessing or generating power.  I will be building some soon.  This stuff is fascinating.

The picture above is of a later experiment that is continuing.  I'll let you know how it goes.
