Persian Wars
An on-line Tournament
using DBAOL

Background
This tournament is more or less a usual DBAOL historical tournament. The armies involved in DBA terms are the following.

24a Early Hoplite Greek
24b Early Spartan
24c Early North Greek
28a Early Achaemenid
31a Early Carthaginian
34  Syracuse
There are no restrictions in army composition
The two open terrain (lowlands and practice ground) are restricted. You can not use them as battlefields.

Rules

 There is no limit to the number of participants. Everybody who signs in until the 9th of April 11:00AM GMT will participate. The players will be separated RANDOMLY into groups of 6. Army choices will also be random but you can select one army you do not want. Also you can propose the addition of one army to the army list (in case we need group of seven or if nobody wants one army). The winner of each group will be decided on the number of wins with a loss differential being used as a tiebreaker (+2 for camp held at the end of the game and +2 for killing the general element). The winner of the each group (and the second depending on the number of participants) will participate in the finals.
You can sign in by sending a post at the Fanaticus Forum  which will include your DBAOL alias EXACTLY as it can be found in the challenge page of DBAOL  and the army YOU DO NOT WANT TO PLAY WITH. All games of the first round must have finished until the end of April.
