Surly
Hi, I'm Surly. Well not always. Just don't ask me about page police. I'm a systems analyst with a computer company in Markham, Ontario, Canada. I'm married to another steadfast Corrie fan with two children, a boy almost 4 and a girl 1 1/2. I was born in Belfast Northern Ireland, raised in Etobicoke, Ontario and now live here just north of Toronto.

I was turned on to Coronation Street by BCF Jo, otherwise known as my sister in Calgary. I got hooked because of Jim MacDonald's accent, which reminded me so much of me relatives' over 'ome. I've only been watching since I was at home on maternity leave during the fall of 1993, but I've rented the old episodes and have a few books which enables me to keep up with some of you old-timers. I found IRC through Grahame's Guesbook which I hold dear to my heart for all the friends that it has enabled me to meet.

FAVORITE STORY-LINE:
Arthur the gnapped gnome. Not because of the story itself, but because it was the reason that led me to meet and become good friends with the Gnomelady.

LEAST FAVORITE STORY-LINE:
Liz and Jim MacDonald. It's over. Get on with it!

LEAST APPRECIATED ACTOR:
Norris. He's such a dutz he's hilarious. Unlike some boat anchors that I have grown to dislike.

FAVORITE COUPLE:
Mavis and Derek. Reminds me of some of my own idiosyncrasies.

FAVORITE MALE:
Bill Webster. He's always there to help and could put an addition onto my house.

FAVORITE FEMALES:
A tie. Rita for her biting wit. Maude for calling a spade a bloody shovel.

FAVORITE HUNK:
Charlie. For those who know me, enough said.

COUNTRY I'D MOST LIKE TO SEE CORRIE BROADCAST IN:
Australia, so that my good friend Feralrambler would be able to enjoy it again too.

MOST AMAZING FACT:
That so many people from so many different walks of life have two things in common, Coronation Street and computers.

FAVORITE WEBMASTERS:
Grahame and Greggy (Becky not withstanding).
