| Hi, I'm Suzanne from Hamilton, Ontario.
I have been on the #coro_street channel since about January 1997.
The first and only channel I have frequented. Lots of really friendly
people to help out a newbie. I never dreamt in a million years when
I joined up, that we would actually *meet* each other and become
best of friends. (We have great pingfests!!)
I have two children, Kathryn, six years
old and Alexander, three. I got my nickname from an actual
person named Stormy. I met her years ago and I thought her name was pretty
neat. Unfortunately, that nickname was already taken on IRC so Greggy
suggested I change it to STORMEE and it stuck!
I began watching Coronation Street on and
off, about ten years ago. But with more frequency since I married my husband,
Neil. His sister and mother are regular Corrie watchers. My only connection
to the UK is Neil who came to Canada from Scotland in 1987.
Or rather, he *was* my only connection to the UK, since I now have several
new friends over there!
I cannot wait until Sundays to see what happens
so I watch during the week. (I tape it in case I get interrupted
by the kids!)
FAVOURITE CHARACTERS:
(Oh, this is tough!) I think... Roy and Hayley,
Jack and Vera, and Judy and Gary.
And of course, Alma, Spider...and also, Curly!
Pretty much every character on the show has their redeeming characters!
MOST HATED CHARACTER:
Angie Freeman (I have no idea why, but she
gets on my nerves!!)
MOST MISSED CHARACTER:
Raquel Wolstenhume Watts (Although I am really
enjoying her performance on her new program "Where the Heart Is")
FAVOURITE STORYLINE:
Hmmmmmm, Oh I can't decide. There are so
many good ones! |
