| I found it very difficult to choose my own
nickname - usually they are "given" to you. My nickname arrived the
first time that I was prompted on MIRC, ready for my initiation into #coro,
and in a sudden "oh my goodness, what can I call myself?", I choose Duch,
the nickname of a person I sadly miss, Princess Diana. . . . .
I have grown to love the people that I meet
at #coro, even though at this point I have never met them. . . they are
a remarkable family.
I am a mum, or mom in Canada, to two wonderful
children, Tasha (6) and Cory (4). I have lived in Canada for 8 years,
originating from Warwickshire, in England. I watched Coronation Street
religiously there, and have continued since living here. It is a
link with the humour and people that I grew up with, although in my heart
I consider myself Canadian. Through this link, I have linked with
humour and people that I hope to continue growing up with. . . .you guessed
it, at #coro!
I have to thank all of you as you have helped
me learn - can't name everyone individually - you are all WONDERFUL!
My hobbies include dress making, wine making
(not red!!!!), plastic canvas stitching, my computer (of course), Zork
games and being among friends.
Unhobby - having to work (although only part
time) which takes me away from my kids. . . .
My favourite character is, well, I guess that
I love most of them when I think of it - no one in particular.
Wish I could look as slim as
Liz
- working on it!
I love to hate Steve MacDonald and
most of the Battesrbys, and thank the Lord that Don is gone.
. .
.along with Alan Bradley. . . .
I miss Samir - what a big puppy he
was. . .
Free Dierdre- wish the authorities
had called us - we'd have put them right!
Hope to see you soon - at pings (can't wait
to meet the faces to go with names), and at #coro. . . . and when I win
the Lottery we'll have the ping that you will never forget . . . .we can
all dream!!! |
