Prayer
"God, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they
protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they
perform for us in our time of need. Amen.
Of all the gifts you could give a US Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine
and others deployed in
harm's way,
Prayer is the very best one.
Dear service men and women:
We are a group of ten confirmatiion candidates in
northern Illinois preparing to be confirmed soon and we want you to know
that our prayers are with all of you who are defending our country and
putting your life on the line for peace in our wirld. We know the
power of prayer and we know that when two or more are present, He is in
our midst and hears us. We pray also for those who have lost their
lives in battle. Some of us have had relatives in past wars and understand
the sacrifice you are making and the courage it takes to be in your position.
We thank you again and hope you continue to pray to God for the safety
of all those in harm's way.
Your friends in Christ, peace be with you all!
