You've seen those odango before. But where? And you thought that the donut look was out. We group blondes as a group together and assume they have certain characteristics. Why shouldn't this be more accurate for something people can control-their hairdo?

For starters, in ancient China, the two topknots in the hair, represented authority. It seems that even in modern times (and animes) authority is still expressed in this look by: Princess Leia, Queen Serenity, Princess Serenity/Sailormoon, Chibiusa, Cerecere, and Miaka (of Fushigi Yuugi- but I hate Miaka so she's not here.)

Princess Leia-Princeess Leia has the exact same hairdo. Now, of course, since this princess came before Kakyuu, we can assume that Kakyuu's hairdo was inspired by this first trendsetter.Similarities between character:Princess Leia was the epitome of regalness. the light saber (or whatever) blasting away the bad guys.

She practically made the I'm-not-going-anywhere-with-you-because-I'm-a-princess aura (unlike Kakyuu, however). But, when worse came to worse, she was the one withThe same with Kakyuu (although she was much more down to 'Earth'). They are also both good leaders in peace and in war. Let's also not forget about the 'Star Wars.' =)

Queen Serenity-Both Queen Serenity and Princess Kakyuu gave up their lives to save their subjects. However, Kakyuu was on Earth when she died and Serenity died on her planet and sent all her subjects to Earth. Even the beginnings of their sad tales started the same. Serenity had keep the moon peaceful and prosperous for a long time- the Silver Millenium. Then Queen Beryl invaded the land with the help of the her strong warriors and Serenity sent all her dead subjects to Earth to live new lives. All Serenity's royal court, plus her daughter dies.
Princess Kakyuu kept Kinmoku kingdom prosperous and peaceful for a long time before Galaxia swept through, trying to get star seeds. Galaxia was helped by the anima-mates. Kakyuu fled to Earth to escape and the Starlights followed. Kakyuu's lover died in the battle.

Princess Serenity/Usagi/Sailor Moon. Like her mother and Princess Kakyuu, they are willing to risk their own lives for others. They believe in others's ability to love and triumph against evil. The StarLights' relationship to Kakyuu is much like the Senshi's relationship to Sailor Moon. Like Sailor Moon, Kakyuu has an identifying mark on the middle of her forehead. In contrast to Saior Moon's moon birthmark?-Kakyuu's is representative of the sign of Kinmoku. It's an olive flower - no, not two bandaids. The word, Kinmokusei is a pun which, in Sailormoon, tends to stand for, the planet Kinmoku- but really means fragant olive.

Chibi Chibi-Chibi Chibi and Kakyuu are obviously friends. It's hard to tell whether Kakyuu guards and protects Chibi Chibi or if it's the other way around! They're both sweet and are people of few words. Probably because of their silence, they are both mysterious people. Finally, they are both a lot stronger than people would take them for. Kakyuu seems very weak, and yes, she died off quickly, but she was able to stand up under Galaxia's attack for a considerable amount of time. And never underestimate Chibi Chibi just because she's small and uber-kawaii!

ChibiUsa-There are those odangos yet again! They are both royalty and tend to get their way.

They both have the same hairdo with slight differences. For instance, Cerecere's pink hair is thinner and resembles a rope while Kakyuu's red hair has more volume. They both have "birthmarks" or a symbol on their foreheads. Their eyes are very different though, since Kakyuu has smart, angular catlike eyes while Cerecere's eyeline points downward, giving her a more mysterious and sleepy look. Clothing wise, Cerecere's outfit resembles Sailorkakyuu's fuku in the manga. Also, they both tend to dress in outfits that resemble flowers.


	Cerecere's outfits are blatantly floral while Kakyuu's are a little more subtle in their patterning after flowers.They both have chokers on their neck, Cerecere's being a delicate pink flower and Kakyuu's being a blue flower/butterfly. Kakyuu also has olive flower earrings and Cerecere has her own unique pink flower earrings. They both also have some floral based attacks. They're both senshi in the manga but they aren't senshi in the anime (Sailor Ceres and Sailorkakyuu.) Their disposition tends to be quiet, but Kakyuu prefers peace while Cerecere is a little troublemaker.
