RaschagalPrince of The Watch
The
World is our birthright – and no one will take it from us. Since the fall, there have always been those who have specifically taken it upon themselves to hold the line against the Outsiders, working to guarantee that the rest of the Horde have a home to return to after their battles against the Host. Lucifer uses Raschagal and his servants as part of the Home Guard, as part of internal security to watch out for the corrupted and tainted, and as an elite strike force. Raschagal, the first Celestial to ever become an Aralim, claims no grudge with Heaven – since his Appointment as Prince he has never worked against the Host, instead focusing solely on the Outsiders. Raschagal has a somewhat pragmatic view of the War – if the Outsiders get behind our lines, both sides will die and no one will care much about territory disputes at that point. Many people see his unwillingness to fight in the War as a sign of weakness, but that’s not really the case. He’ll help negotiate a truce with Heaven when he gets the chance. Not that it’s going to happen any time soon… While Raschagal is virtually alone in his stance that the war should end, he can command a great deal of support from the assembled Princes, for he can offer them one thing that none of them could do without – the Aralim. The Prince of The Watch is the only known Superior who can take oaths from Aralim, and makes use of that fact when pressed. It’s also known that while Raschagal and his people may have personal opinions about different Superiors, if you give them a chance to fight Outsiders they’ll help just about anybody. After all, we’re all in this together… DissonanceThe Prince of The Watch knows all too well that this battle against the Outsiders will take every last bit of courage that his Servitors possess. Nevertheless, there’s a war on, and there can’t be any room for slackers. It is dissonant for a Servitor of The Watch to retreat from a battle with the Outsiders unless ordered. There are standing orders for withdrawal in the event that a Servitor finds itself facing impossible odds with no hope of victory. Also, it is dissonant to disobey a direct order from your superior officers. Raschagal promotes his commanders for a good reason, and he expects them to be obeyed. Band AttunementsAralimRaschagal has more Aralim in his service than any other Prince. Raschagal’s Aralim are charged with defending their fellow celestials and can, with a Will roll, extend their immunity to taint to another celestial for CD x 10 minutes. This can only be active on one other celestial at any given moment. BalseraphRaschagal has relatively few Balseraph, but those who do serve him have the ability to appear tainted, allowing them to enter the ranks of the enemy without detection. Note that this does not confer immunity to taint, only the ability to appear tainted. DjinnRaschagal’s Djinn can, with a successful attunement, follow their attuned anywhere. This includes beyond the Symphony, although it does not provide the Djinn the method to leave the Symphony. If an attuned leaves the Symphony and then re-enters with the time frame of the attunement, the Djinn will automatically know. Raschagal’s Djinn can kill their attuned if said attuned has been tainted or corrupted. CalabimRaschagal’s Calabim have the ability to force the Symphony upon Outsiders as well as causing them damage. With a successful roll, the affected Outsider cannot use songs or attunements for a number of rounds equal to the check die. An interest side affect of this is that once forced into the Symphony, any disturbances made by either the Calabim or the targeted Outsider cannot be heard by other Outsiders until the time has elapsed. HabbalahRaschagal’s Habbalah find Outsiders, as well as others they perceive as enemies, to be offensive to God’s sight and can point this out to others as well. A Habbalah of The Watch attempting to inflict the Fury emotion succeeds automatically, needing only to roll for interventions and check die. LilimRaschagal’s spymasters, these celestials do not need to roll perception to acquire needs, only rolling the dice for check die and interventions. The roll to actually acquire the geas itself is unchanged. ShedimThe Shedim of The Watch have pretty much been everywhere and seen it all, and a bit of that seeps through into those they possess. The mind of the Shedim’s host flees from his body, leaving the Shedim with absolute control. They do not have to roll to force their hosts to do something. One thing that this is also used for is possessing other celestial’s vessels and running them into the ground. If this happens to be an Outsider, the Shedim takes no dissonance from its vessel’s death. Impudites
Raschagal’s Impudites have the ability to drain taint from a celestial and use it much as they would essence. They also do not have to charm a victim before draining them, only having to come within a number of yards equal to their celestial forces. The roll to drain is resisted as normal, unless the target is restrained and helpless, in which case success is automatic. Servitor Attunements
ResistanceThis Attunement grants a partial immunity to the corrupting influence of the Outsiders. The Attunement changes, depending on the level of the servitor in The Watch – Standard Rank and File - +04 to all resistance rolls Knight of The Watch - +06 to all resistance rolls Captain of The Guard - +08 to all resistance rolls Field Commander - +10 to all resistance rolls This attunement is required by all members of The WatchHunt
This Attunement, identical to the attunement of The Sword, grants the ability to unerringly track any being he has fought, regardless of the distance between them He may keep track of a number of opponents equal to his ethereal forces. The Flames of CleansingThis Attunement grants the servitor limited access to the Black Flame of Bran. While unable to use its rumored powers of purification directly, it serves as an excellent weapon against the Outsiders, having a range of the servitor’s celestial forces time ten in yards. Make a standard celestial attack roll – if it hits, it does a number of hits equal to the check die times the essence used to power it, bypassing all forms of protection. This damage cannot be healed by celestial healing, only through the passage of time. QuarantineThis Attunement, for the cost of five essence, allows the servitor to mark an area with a radius equal to his celestial forces times one hundred in yards as off-limits. The warded area for a number of minutes equal to the servitor’s will times a check die will be effectively cut off from both the Outsider symphonies as well as their own. No one can enter or exit the Quarantined area, nor can any disturbances escape it. This Attunement can be ended at will by the celestial that initiated the Quarantine, and it ends if the celestial that created it dies before the time elapses. DistinctionsKnight of The WatchA Knight of The Watch has the ability to sense whether a person that the demon faces is ultimately on the side of the symphony or the Outsiders, and can also tell at a glance precisely what level of combat experience that person has. Captain of The GuardRaschagal’s Captains can hear the chords of danger entering the symphony, and can hear the sounds of a battle that either he or his troops will be in for a number of minutes equal to the Captain’s celestial forces. He can also roughly tell the strength of the forces by the volume of the sounds that he hears. Field CommanderThe demon can tell precisely where the troops under his command are on a battlefield as well as the number and strength of those that he fights, so long as he has faced a similar opponent before. All celestials fighting under the direction of a Field Commander gain a +1 to their attack rolls RelationsRaschagal has specifically ordered all of his servitors to cooperate in any operation that involves hurting the Outsiders, and is therefore considered Allied to all Princes when it comes to the Outsiders. However, in other respects, Raschagal has somewhat strong opinions, although he does not always expect his servitors to share them. Raschagal also has allies among the Host, although this has never been officially confirmed. Allied:
