Christopher, Cherub Archangel of Innocence (Host)
The world is fun and bright and oh-so-cheerful! Only in innocence can happiness be found!
The Archangel of Innocence is noted for his preference for his feminine form, Christine, although he was first known as Christopher, and many still call her by this name. Corporeally, she appears as an eight-year-old Spanish girl with liquid brown eyes and silky ebony hair done in twin pigtails. She favors white dresses with pink bows, usually carries a large teddy bear, and frequently has her thumb in her mouth. She normally only takes her original masculine form when upset or in times of stress.
That form takes the appearance of an English boy of four years, with tousled sandy hair and dark-green eyes, clad in a white sports jersey and blue jeans with sneakers. His Celestial form is that of a fluffy white kitten with golden halo of a Cherub and shimmering rainbow wings.
Dissonance
It is dissonant for Servitors of Innocence to do anything that would ruin the innocence of another, or to not act when someone's innocence is threatened. Fighting is dissonant, period - save when it is to protect the innocent or the ideals of innocence, and even then it is an iffy, gray area to Christine. That is an act which compromises one's innocence. Beyond that, Christopher/Christine is pretty lenient dissonance-wise.
The Word of Innocence
The Word of Innocence encompasses the concepts of peace, hope, joy, laughter, and curiosity. In short, it is the essence of what it is to be a child. The critical difference between the Word of Innocence and the Word of Children is that Innocence is an eternal, immutable concept, whereas Children grow and change over time. Innocence at once sees the difference between good and evil clearly, and yet can be confused on what good and evil actually is. The Word embodies all of this, and the desire to protect one's innocence from outside influences. This Word resonates most strongly with babies, children and, oddly, with the mentally ill (they are often robbed of their perceptions of the world around them).
Choir Attunements
All of the Servitors of Innocence are granted one child vessel automatically at character creation.
Seraphim
Seraphim of Innocence may, with a resonance, see the Truth of how innocence or guilty one is. They also get +3 on all Will rolls when convincing someone of the reasons why they should stay innocent and pure. They feel it when someone lies to them, like a sticky black film on and in their bodies.
Cherubim (Restricted)
Cherubim of Innocence may detect the nearest source of true innocence. When engaged in the protection of the innocent, or of innocence itself, they may double their reaction time by the number of their Will. When they attune to a person, that person experiences a child-like trust and joy towards their celestial protector for as long as the attunement lasts.
Ofanim (Restricted)
Ofanim of Innocence radiate an aura of innocent peace that follows like a wake in the Wheel's path. All in the area of the wake have a -4 Will roll to any act of violence or to any action that would cause them guilt or dissonance. If a mortal perceives them in their celestial form, they inspire a youthful burst of carefree energy in that person that lasts for a number of hours equal to the Ofanite's Will.
Elohim
Elohim of Innocence can sense the emotional web-work of a person's guilt and innocence. These Elohim can determine whether a person is worthy of emotional succor and project a blanket of calm that soothes a person's conscience, shielding them from all emotional pain. The time it lasts is equal in hours to the Elohite's Perception.
Malakim
Christine has very few Malakim. Fighting is not an innocent action, and Christine does not comprehend the Barons. Nevertheless, she has made an attunement for them. Malakim of Innocence can sense the nearest source of threatened innocence. When engaged in battle for the protection of innocence or the innocent they radiate an aura of sheer innocent pride in their work that renders all opponents are -3 for any attacks or Will rolls. These Malakim are also immune from losing consciousness in battle.
Kyriotates
Christine's Kyriotates are immune from the dissonance condition of their Choir, as corruption is most definitely not innocent! They also can tell how innocent or guilty someone they have possessed is, and can leave behind post-hypnotic suggestions to improve a host's purity of mind after they have left.
Lilim
Lilim of Innocence may set a soul at ease whenever they have established a Geas-hook upon them. The hooked person's guilt and troubled conscience eases to a child-like trust and faith in the Charismatic and ceases to bother them, no matter how bad the crimes committed.
Mercurians
Christine's Mercurians are perhaps the happiest amongst their Choir. Not only can they detect how guilty or innocent a person is in general with a gaze, and clues as to how to help them in the best manner, but they can also make a gift of their own Essence to a person or angel twice a day. These Friends of Man consider giving of their own Essence to help another to be a joyous act, not a burden. These Mercurians can use the Ethereal Songs of Light and Charm in the presence of children or those with child-like innocence without raising disturbance or expending Essence.
Servitor Attunements
Memories of Youth
As per Christopher's canonical Attunement of the same name.
Concerned Censor
With this Attunement, an angel of Innocence may block out sights, sounds, and actions that are not conducive to maintaining the innocence of another. The affected person does not see, hear, or feel what has been censored. The effect lasts for a number of hours equal to the angel's Will.
Peace of Mind
This Attunement enables an angel of Innocence to bring total peace of mind to one person for a number of hours equal to the angel's Perception. This calms Discord and Ethereal injuries, grants peace from mental instability, and removes heavy loads of grief and guilt from a person. This does not function as a Song of Ethereal Healing. Damage is not restored, the pain is merely removed, like a localized painkiller.
Peace of Body
Innocence has often been seen in Heaven as a beneficent healer. As such, Christine's angels get a lot of calls to help heal injured angels. This Attunement lets these angels silence the pain of any bodily injury (Corporeal only). Damage is not restored, the pain is merely nullified. It also speeds up the natural healing of the body, which helps the Brethren in their work of restoration.
Peace of Soul
When an angel is injured Celestially, or suffers from Celestial Discord, this Attunement of Innocence enables one of the Children to still such pain for a number of hours equal to the angel's Celestial Forces. The Attunement wraps the injured angel in a warm, golden stasis blanket for the duration, immunizing them to the pain if not the damage.
Aura of Hope
An angel of Innocence with this attunement radiates a sense of peace, love, and hope that extends for a number of yards and lasts for a number of hours equal to the angel's Will times two. All in the area of effect feel their spirits uplifted and hopes of a better life reborn within them. The aura may compel a person to do things that are absolutely naive or childish, but they don't care because they are so happy.
Distinctions
Vassal of Children
A Vassal of Children is automatically trusted blindly by any child twelve years old or younger. They can also communicate with and understand any baby. A Vassal appears to be a figure of absolute faith and trust to any child under the age of twelve. They also have the ability to detect the nature and extent of an injury on sight.
Friend of the Vestal Virgins
Friends of the Vestal Virgins radiate an eternal sense of chastity and purity that intensifies feelings of chastity in those already chaste and pure, and brings an overwhelming sense of shame to those who are not. This aura is permanent and as much a part of a Friend of the Vestal Virgins as the aura of peace is a part of a canon Seraph of Flowers. Friends of the Vestal Virgins also get +3 to all Will rolls when dealing with mortals.
Master of Snuggles
Masters of Snuggles continually radiate the Aura of Hope and Concerned Censor attunements at all times, in an circular radius equal in miles to the angel's Will times two. Masters of Snuggles also inspire feelings of joy in people just by being around them, and they bring intense shame to those who are involved in acts that bring guilt and/or dissonance.
Holy Protector of Eternal Innocence
Holy Protectors of Eternal Innocence are relatively rare. Christine is leery about emphasizing too many Distinctions amongst her Family. Holy Protectors of Eternal Innocence can grant someone absolute peace of mind and conscience simply by being around them. They may use the Songs of Ethereal and Celestial Joy with no Essence expenditure. They get +5 to all Will rolls. The Holy Protectors of Eternal Innocence mostly oversee the House staff, though some do see Earthside duty.

Christopher In Detail - History
Christopher's history begins in 1171 AD when he was created by Kobal, the Archangel of Laughter. Christopher was a bright little Cherub who brought joy to all who saw him. As a Cherub of Laughter, Christopher's job was to inspire laughter in others by making fun of himself. From an early age, his interest was in inspiring laughter in children, for children in his time had such short and often brutal lives. It was in 1526 that Christopher's actions earned him the Word of Innocence, and about this time that his gender preference mysteriously began to switch from male to female, creating the Christine persona that would eventually become so dominant.
Across the centuries, Christopher came to the attention of Tessara, the Angel of Passion. Tessara attempted to seduce him but failed due to Christopher's inability to comprehend the mature passions Tessara embodies. After being scorned and shunned by Tessara, Christopher went back to his work to bury the hurt, shifting ever more into Christine, until in 1790 AD Kobal prevailed upon Lucifer to promote the Cherub he considered his daughter to Archangel of Innocence. This was when the shift was complete. Except for very rare occasions of high stress or danger, Christopher had been subsumed into Christine.
Ever since that time, Christine has been working to create an atmosphere of childish innocence in the world, but has been confounded on many occasions by the actions of Nybbas, the Archangel of Communication and by the fact that she has trouble getting her allies to mobilize to help her. Christine does not quite comprehend that she is considered not to be a serious Archangel, that she is something of a diversion for most of the others. She has formed alliances with Andrealphus, Israfel, and her father Kobal, and even gathered a few Word-Bound under her, but her tenure in office has been short, and she has a long way to go to achieve her goals.
The Children of Christine-Servitors of Innocence (Christopherites, Christopherish, Innocents, Children, Brethren, the Family, Nannies)
Surprisingly, Innocence's organization is pretty cohesive and tight-knit. Christine believes that her Servitors must work together to maintain their own individual innocence and to promote the ideals of Innocence amongst the mortals and other angels. She prefers that her Servitors think of themselves like a family, hence she grants few Distinctions and constantly insists that her Servitors refer to her as 'Big Sister'. On formal occasions, this might be 'Mother Christine' or on rare occasions, 'Father Christopher'. Distincted angels of Innocence are referred to as 'Big Brother' or 'Big Sister'. Everyone else is simply 'Brother' or 'Sister' (Kyriotates are encouraged to identify strongly with masculinity or femininity, for identity purpose). Generally, the Servitors of Innocence are divided up into two broad divisions.
The House Staff: Comprising 10% of Christine's overall Servitors, the House Staff maintains Christine's Cathedral. They tend to the relievers of Heaven, oversee the Saints of Innocence who live in Heaven, and perform house calls to injured angels across Heaven and Earth. The House Staff serve as discreet liaisons between Innocence and other Heavenly Words.
The Preservers of Innocence: The other 90% of Christine's Servitors are the Preservers of Innocence. They work primarily on Earth, helping mortals and working to spread the ideals of their Archangel through mortal society. They are usually the first angels on the scene of an emergency, working to heal angels of the Host and humans who are injured (and secretly, angels of any sides, when they can get away with it safely). They can be found working as childcare providers, nannies, teachers, and even in the media (though they find this distressing when they must do this long-term). They prefer to mold society through the young, and through the Saints and Soldiers of Innocence they oversee.
There is no competition between the divisions. Both divisions oversee difference aspects of Innocence's organization, and both feel no need to fight over which is greater. The two divisions work closely together, even if the Preservers do sometimes complain that the more sheltered House Staff occasionally gets in the way during emergencies.

Christine's Family
Christine is quite adamant about keeping a sense of family amongst her Servitors. Seeing as they serve Innocence, most of Chris's lot are a happy, cheerful lot who get along great. If there are problems or breakdowns in communication, they (as they are encouraged to), talk to each other first. If they can't resolve it through words, they bring it to Christine and she solves it. Fighting when one can talk is dissonant after all, and Christine sometimes must devise punishments for the seriously violent without compromising her own innocence.
Usually, this means putting the Servitor in temporary time-out in one of the sensory deprivation chambers in the House on the Lake. In extreme cases, this means Outcasting the Servitor from her service. Even then, Christine tries to find some other Archangel that better suits the angel's talents and personality. Despite this, Christine is truly loved by all of her followers, who would gladly die or kill for her if she but gave the command. Christine loves them too much to ever give that command.

Rocking the Cradle
Christine has been given charge of all the infant angels in Heaven. A suspicious mind might wonder at the influence that gives the Archangel of Innocence. After all, she has angels that remember her as the one who cared for them in their infancy and thus would sympathize with her, at least in theory. Christine herself does not realize this. She raises the young angels because she loves children and wants what is best for them. She personally counsels each reliever she meets and she and her counselors work to help the relievers fledge in a way that best suits their personalities. Her House Staff, while caring, is more pragmatic.
The House Staff, who assist in the raising of the young angels, do have a care for politics. The one in charge of the child-rearing program, the Elohite known as Daisy, carefully grooms the young Relievers to hold deep-seated loyalties to Innocence when they grow up. She does not see fit to inform Christine about this, but she keeps tabs on who owes her what as well as any Lilim.

Children in Heaven
So what happens to the souls of mortal children that die and go to Heaven? Before Innocence came to power, most of them were mixed in with the other blessed souls in the Heavenly pile and left to rot in eternal boredom. When Christopher was promoted, Lucifer dumped the problem off on him, redirecting the souls of children that met their Destiny to the House on the Lake.
This might have been a problem, save that Christopher/Christine genuinely likes children. The House on the Lake was constructed with a large nursery, staffed by a number of the angels of Innocence who are on the permanent House staff. There is a child care and education center, where young children are trained and educated by some of the House staff and selected adult souls. The teenage souls are housed in a perpetual summer camp in the hilly country that surrounds the Lake of Joy. Many of the teenagers are trained to work with the younger souls, which frees up the House staff for more tasks. This system has worked exceedingly well for 211 years, and many of the elder souls end up as ambassadors to new blessed souls or those who are on their way to Heaven when they die.

Saints and Soldiers
Christine had a rather controversial idea fifteen years into her tenure as Archangel of Innocence. Seeing the mortal souls just lounging around Heaven, Christine wondered if mortals could help her spread her message. She began by taking the unprecedented step of forming a council of mortal souls to counsel her. Within a few years, she was sending mortal souls back to Earth in new bodies to help determine the situation on Earth. She called these people her Saints.
An interesting side effect of the Saint program was that her Saints began recruiting mortal Soldiers of Innocence on Earth, who spread her teachings even more rapidly. This mobilization of her blessed souls has led to a noticeable reduction in the ennui of blessed souls in her region. Her idea has been adopted by Andrealphus and she has proposed it to Gebbeleth, Kobal, Israfel, Jean, and Eve. In her happiness at the apparent success of her idea, she has not noted the controversy it engendered.

Makatiel and Daisy
The Servitors of Innocence are known for their family-like organization, but there are two angels in particular who hold great sway over the Children. Both of them are Elohim. One is Makatiel, the Angel of Healing, and the other is Daisy, the Angel of Cheerfulness. They are case studies in opposite personalities. Makatiel is stern, fixed of purpose and even downright dour on occasion. Daisy is fun and bright, although at times she seems lost in her own little world. No one can explain that except maybe Israfel. She found Daisy as a remnant from some other plane of reality, reconstructed her, and gave her into Christopher's service.
Makatiel is a Holy Protector of Eternal Innocence, and he is in command of the Infirmary, where angels from all over Heaven, regardless of the Word they serve, can come and find healing. As such, he is a very busy Elohite and has little time to spare for idle chatter or goofing around.
Daisy is a Master of Snuggles who has been entrusted with helping with Innocence's child-rearing programs and with various and sundry Corporeal activities, most notably fighting the influence of Nybbas. She's quite pleasant, except for those times when she thinks back on her mysterious past or encounters things like fire or courthouses. Those tend to spook her into doing odd and possibly dangerous things. Together, she and Makatiel form a major part of Innocence's infrastructure.

Tethers of Innocence
Tethers of Innocence have the tendency of popping up at places where many people of good will visit. Nurseries, day-care centers and kindergartens, parks, gardens, and lakes are all places to look for Tethers to Innocence. The largest known Tether of Innocence is at a kindergarten in Naples, Italy.

Dealing with Outsiders
To the angels of Innocence, the planes are really a big family. One might not always agree with family members, but that is no reason to prejudge them or hate them. Even the Servitors of Communication can expect a fairly warm greeting from a Servitor of Innocence (compared to a warm hug or a gift of flowers and candy for most others). The Christopherites tend to be preachy on the virtues of innocence, joy, and happiness. They tend to interfere in the actions of others they meet, scolding like concerned nannies and admonishing people for taking actions that would interfere with their innocence or that of others. They are blithely unaware and uninterested in the needs and motivations of others, or if they do take an interest, they misconstrue it.
Return to Innocence-The Redeemed
Those among the Redeemed who join Christopher's service are assigned to work in the House on the Lake, where Daisy and her best angels carefully probe the angel's past memory to learn useful information and to induce in their patient a sense of shame for actions of the past. From there, a combination of modern brainwashing techniques and the influence of Friends of the Vestal Virgins and Masters of Snuggles to reduce their patient's minds to the same state of cheerful happiness as the other Servitors of Innocence.
Babies of the Family-Relievers of Innocence
Christopher was given charge of the care and training of the relievers of Heaven. Most of the relievers end up being assigned to the Archangel that best suits their individual personalities, but many feel a strong attachment to the Archangel of Innocence and end up in her service before and after fledging. The relievers in Christine's service are excessively coddled and fussed over. They are the youngest siblings of the Family and are treated as such. They receive minimal training in anything, but they are often assigned as support staff and messengers. Usually, their trainers (all assigned by Daisy) have the Concerned Censor Attunement, to protect their young charges.
Let's Play Musical Angels! - Choirs in Service to Innocence
Each Choir that serves Innocence has its' own unique slant on the Word their Archangel holds. The following definitions are general, as each angel is an individual and may differ from the rest of their Choir, regardless of who they serve.
Seraphim
Seraphim of Innocence view themselves as the foremost protectors of true innocence. With their power to sense guilt and innocence and to convince others of the virtues of innocence, these Seraphim come off as the most nanny-like and didactic of all Christine's angels, save perhaps the Cherubim. Seraphim of Innocence have a tendency to assume command and dictate to other angels. They also have the tendency towards long-winded lecturing when they feel that someone is not being as innocent as they should be.
Cherubim
Cherubim of Innocence are the dogged Overseers of their charges, using the trust and joy they inspire in their attuned to maneuver them into acting in such a way as to preserve their innocence. These Cherubim, more than others, tend to hover about their charges. The major difference between them and the Seraphim is that most Cherubim are indifferent to the actions of others, so long as their charge is not affected. They reserve their nannying for their attuned. Many of these Cherubim have Concerned Censor, and apply it very liberally. To others, these Cherubim often seem aloof and coldly distant.
Ofanim
Ofanim of Innocence are even more insipidly cheerful than most of Christopher's Servitors. These Ofanim never really stop to consider their actions, and their manic force is poured into their love of encouraging innocence. In contrast to most angels, the Ofanim of Innocence prefer to travel in their Celestial forms, inspiring joy in perceptive mortals. They tend not to care about the disturbance they raise, and will go to any lengths to have fun and just enjoy life to its' fullest. Their preference is just to charge through any situation, tossing jokes and quips without regard for diplomacy or tact. Next to Kobal's angels (whom they get along with famously), they are Heaven's merry jokesters.
Elohim
Elohim of Innocence are the calm balance of the virtues of joy, happiness, and innocence with the need for protection and succor. They see themselves as noble bearers of the burdens of humanity and angels, granting succor to those who deserve it and taking upon themselves the task of helping them deal with their emotional pain. They are very objective when it comes to getting a person through their emotional issues, using just about any methods necessary to achieve their ends, sometimes skirting the very edges of dissonance. The Elohim seem to project a sense of weariness wherever they go, and do not communicate much with others. They claim that no one can understand the burden they must bear, or the lonely vigil they keep over the emotions of the innocent.
Malakim
The Malakim of Innocence are a distinct minority and they certainly realize it. Many of them have problems reconciling their basic natures with the Word of their Archangel. Malakim of Innocence have a tendency to want to take command of a situation, often putting them at odds with Christine's Seraphim. It can often be seen that Christine's Malakim struggle to act within the dissonance conditions of their Archangel. As such, they tend to be as cold and formally polite as is possible to get away with for one of the Innocents. They don't get along with the Ofanim, and force themselves to be tolerant and patient with the young they are often required to work with.
Kyriotates
Kyriotates of Innocence strive to always blot the memory of their Choir's corruption from their minds. They do this by helping as many people as they possibly can, throwing themselves into their work with unbridled dedication. These Kyriotates enjoy acting and even speaking like little children, dancing and playing with a carefree abandon that can cheer up just about any situation. They treat Kyriotates of other Words with a sad pity that can be irksome, and they don't really grasp the concept of permanence, which is why they rarely have long-term assignments.
Lilim
Lilim of Innocence are the most cheerful and naive of their entire Choir, and they act like it. Some of them do not even bother to speak in anything above the gurgling speech of a baby. Most others spend their time in serenely satisfied peace. They strive to set the example for all others. These Lilim derive a great sense of comfort from their power to ease the pain of others when they get a Geas-hook on them. Many of these Lilim are highly creative and artistic, spending their days enlivening Heaven with paintings and sculptures. They exceed the Mercurians and Kyriotates in insipid cheerfulness, and like to think of themselves as the ambassadors of Innocence to Heaven and Earth.
Mercurians
Mercurians of Innocence just love presents, especially giving them! This happy bunch can usually be found at charities, homeless shelters, and in malls, creating and handing out presents to whoever wants them, even total strangers. A common greeting for a Mercurian of Innocence is to walk up to someone and hand them a gift-wrapped present with a smile. These Friends of Man just love to give away their Essence and are extraverted in the extreme. They are often hurt and puzzled if people turn down their presents. This can lead them to one of their feared crying jags, which can last hours. Their ability to sob and pout is the other thing these Mercurians are famous for.
Jobs
Celestial Jobs
In Heaven, the angels of Innocence primarily work to maintain Christine's Cathedral and to run messages back and forth between Christine and those Archangels she has good relations with. Only a small portion of Christine's angels actually work in Heaven.
Ethereal Jobs
Christine doesn't really involve herself in the Marches. It is a place which confuses and frightens her, and she doesn't like all the fighting that goes on there. Her only involvement in the Marches is to identify the dreamscapes of the innocent and to send Mercurians and Lilim in to negotiate with the Servitors of Beleth and try to keep them from invading these dreamscapes.
Corporeal Jobs
The bulk of Innocence's operations are on Earth, where they work to keep humanity in a sedated state of pure innocence and joy. They work to influence the young, in hopes that when they grow up, they will change society towards the goals of Heaven. The earthbound angels work to counter the influence of the Exiles (particularly Communication), and to cheer up the people they encounter.
She's Making a List and Checking it Twice-Rewards and Punishments
Christine is a very tolerant Archangel, but she has her limits. While she generally doesn't bother with stringent security checks or check up on her Servitors often, she does check up occasionally. If she doesn't like what she sees, demotions, Song-and Attunement-stripping, and artifact confiscation are in order. For extreme cases, Servitors are sent into one of her sensory deprivation chambers in the basement of the House on the Lake for an extended period or are made Outcast and transferred to another Archangel's service (one suiting the offending angel's personality).
On the other hand, rewards are generally low-key. Christine doesn't like to create strife in her family by promoting people too often, and she prefers to keep a balance in the numbers of her Distincted. She rewards her Servitors primarily with Songs, Attunements, and artifacts, rather than Distinctions. Handing out Concerned Censor and Aura of Hope are her most common methods of reward.

The Word-Bound of Innocence
Christine doesn't place a lot of emphasis on Word-Bound, so she only has a few, but they are potent ones. Makatiel is the Angel of Healing and one of Christine's top angels. Daisy is the Angel of Cheerfulness, a Word which she seems to resonate with very well for some reason. Quiatra is the Angel of Children, a word that perhaps would be a Superior-level one if it were not already subsumed into the Word of Innocence. The Angel of Joy, the Angel of Toys, and the Angel of Sharing (a perky young Mercurian) also serve under Innocence, but in lesser roles.

Personality and Outlook
Christine is a sweetly cheerful angel with a large, compassionate heart. In many ways she is like the Cherubim of old, but her Word enforces upon her a comfortable shield of naivete that protects her from growing up. She is the most cheerful soul in Heaven and she loves to play games and have fun. She takes an optimistic view of the world, believing that ultimately good will triumph and everyone will be happy. It is extremely difficult to make her feel sad, but when she does, she'll mope in her Cathedral for days and everyone around her will feel depressed.
The Eternal Innocent-Christopher in Person
In person, Christopher is bouncy and playful. In her kitten form, she'll curl in a person's lap or on their shoulders. As a child, she'll usually be found with a teddy bear or a lollipop in hand. One thing prevalent with her is her kitten motif. Kittens can be found all around her Cathedral and in her presence, as well as human babies and angelic relievers. She'll usually speak in the manner of a small child, and her attention span is not the greatest. She doesn't always follow conversations and matters must be explained to her in the same manner one would use with a small child. She's known for her sudden and impulsive shifts in concentration and conversation, and her love of playing games (but nothing violent - building blocks and jigsaw puzzles are more her speed). She also talks aloud to a variety of imaginary friends. Formal meetings consist of a tea party in her office with her dolls, but she doesn't like formality, so usually she holds informal meetings.
On Earth, her appearances are erratic. She doesn't much like visiting Earth as is. There is too much potential for one's innocence to be damaged, so she keeps her Earth appearances brief and has a distracted air when she does appear. She always carries her blue security blanket with her when she visits Earth. The exception to this is when she is summoned in the presence of babies or small children. Then she is happy. The wise Servitor will make sure there are plenty of the young around when invoking Christopher.
Her Servitors refer to her as Big Sister, Mother Christine, Father Christopher (on the rare occasions she takes masculine form), Chrissy, Archangel, or just plain Mom.

The Home of Delight-The House on the Lake
Christopher established his Cathedral at his elevation to Archangelic status. It is the House on the Lake. The Lake of Joy is a sparking, crystal-clear lake established in the hills that Christopher terraformed. The entire Lake once was the Groves of Michael, but Christopher changed the terrain, removing the Groves to create the Lake. The House stands on a hill on the Lake's south side, directly overlooking the entire Lake. The terrain is filled with flowers and herbs transplanted from what used to be the Glade of Novalis.
The hills and glades surrounding the House are home to the Saints of Innocence, who oversee the small communities of blessed souls in conjunction with the angels of Innocence (particularly the Lilim artists and the Mercurians who arrange the various games and sporting events). Every month, there are wide spaces cleared for a variety of games (potato-sack races, canoe races on the Lake, and ping-pong are the most popular games, and everyone who can attend can play.
The House itself is a massive, five-story mansion, done in white marble and dark-brown wood, sharing much of the construction style of the White House, though more space is given over to gardens. The House has no military defenses, and is large enough to house all the Servitors of Innocence with plenty of rooms to spare. There is a built-in child care center, school complex, and a kitchen the size of two football fields put together. The House contains plenty of secret passages, slides to carry one between levels, playrooms, a hospital, and an indoor sporting complex. There are sensory deprivation chambers in the basement for when an angel of Innocence needs to be put on time-out, and Christopher keeps his playroom on the top floor. The playroom has a foam-rubber floor with a structure of plastic pipes and a built-in pit in the floor filled with rubber balls to dive in. This is where Christopher/Christine conducts the important affairs of the office of the Archangel of Innocence.

Christopher's Toybox
Also found in Christopher's Playroom is his Toybox. The Toybox contains toys from all three planes, and several are gifts of Israfel. These odd toys are things she discovered in various alternate dimensions and realities. They include powerful Relics and Reliquaries, as well as common toys. They are all scattered at random inside the seemingly-endless toybox, and Christopher lets his Servitors borrow stuff all the time, so the next time you ran across a Servitor of Innocence, check their toys. You never know what they might be unwittingly holding!

Role in the War
Christopher/Christine is the protector of the children and the innocent, and in the absence of Novalis or Fleurity, the Healer of Heaven. The bulk of healing in all forms comes from the Servitors of Innocence. The angels of Innocence are more concerned with social work, charity, and the preservation of the ideals of Innocence than military matters or even the Exiles.
Views on God
Christopher doesn't know much about God. She knows that her father has often spoken of Him with love and pride, and so Christopher views God as a type of distant Grandfather. But she doesn't think much about God as a rule.

Andrealphus: "Andrea's so nice and funny! We watch cartoons together, and we talk all the time. She's like my big sister, and I love her lots and lots, yep I do!"
Beleth: "I don't like Beleth. She's scary! Issy calls her Nightmares!" (nods righteously, keeping a firm hold of her security blanket and a pacifier)
Beth: "She's a big Cherub!" (nods brightly) "I'm a little Cherub, that's why I have a kitten's body, but Beth must be a grown-up Cherub, because she has a big kitty's body. One day, I'll be a grown-up too, yes I will. Some people say that Beth is mean, but if you fill out all your forms, she's real nice about lending you stuff, and its' always where its' supposed to be too! I sometimes send my Children and some of the Relievers to the Library to learn responsibility from her."
Demogorgon: "He makes a big mess and won't clean it up, and he never plays nice with others. I don't like schoolyard bullies!" (sulks in a corner)
Eve: "She's all nice and sweet. I like her! I think she embodies the best concepts of Innocence for humans. I just wish she didn't kneel to me all the time. I never understood why she does that, and why that Seraph is always hovering around her. He seems like a meanie." (pouts) "I don't like meanies."
Gebbeleth: "I like Gebbeleth." (smile) "I don't understand a word he says, but I like him. Holy Mysteries sounds like a fun game, and priests are among the most innocent and trustworthy of humans, and Gebby controls priests, so he's trustworthy too. See?"
Iblis: "Glory? What's that? It must be a grown-up concept I'm not ready for yet."
Israfel: "I like Issy! Usually when I visit her, she'll give me a gold star and a cookie for being a good girl. Sometimes she calls me 'Children' or 'Wrath'. I don't understand that part. I'm Innocence!" (smiles warmly) "My Servitors tell me that Issy is involved in Really Important Stuff, but I don't know what it is, so I can't help her." (pouts)
Jean: "Lightning is fun! It makes the sky all pretty when it comes down, especially in rain. I love rain!" (she puts a finger to her lips and begins whispering) "But we have to be really quiet in the Halls of Progress. Jean is an Old Man, which means we have to feed him oatmeal and baby food, and change him, and make sure he takes his naps in his rocking chair. So remember...shhhh!" (nod)
Kobal: "Daddy! I love Kobal, yep I really do! He makes everyone laugh and have fun! I just wish he'd cheer up too sometimes." (she hugs her stuffed Kobal doll fiercely)
Laurence: "He's Heaven's Toy Knight! We wind him up, and he goes out and saves the day! I wish he didn't play with knives though. That's a bad example for the children." (she pouts thoughtfully)
Lucifer: "Lucy's a great guy! He made me a...a..." (stops a moment, her face screwed up in thought) "An Archyangel!" (nod) "But he's always so sad nowadays. He never smiles anymore, like when I was made an Archyangel. I think he's becoming an Old Man like Jean, but not to worry! I have an idea!" (smiles and bounds off)

Christine's Joke
Christine came up with an idea when being interviewed about her feelings about other Superiors. She decided to settle the whole Host-Exile Conflict by playing a joke on everyone. She went to Kobal and suggested that they find a way to get Jean to invent a machine that would transfer souls. The machine would take Lucifer's soul and place him inside Novalis, and take Novalis' soul and put her in Lucifer's body! Christine thinks it would be funny, and that, after a few centuries, both sides would realize the whole fight was just silly and call it off. So far, it's a secret between Innocence and Laughter.

Malphas: "He scares me. I don't understand how the Kyrea - Kyriotes - Kyriotates can have all those differing personalities. That has to be confusing. He breaks people up and robs people of innocence, and that's just wrong. I have to talk to that cloud about that!" (nods determinedly)
Marc: "He's like Andrea and Daddy, a Mer...curian. Mercurian, that's right! Some of my Children are Mercurians. But I don't understand him. We should share stuff, and I think that is Trade, but I don't understand this money stuff. It must be a grown-up thing."
Zadkiel: "She's Heaven's Batgirl! She runs around, keeping an eye on everything, and when something goes wrong, she winds up Laurence to go deal with it. But I think she's upset about something. My angels told me that she's upset with her Mommy. Well, I'll take care of that at the sing-along when we stop this silly fighting!"
Superior Opinions (Exiles):
Baal: "He's like a cartoon character come to life! He dashes around, being a hero and stuff. I just wish that he and Lucy got along better." (sighs and sucks on her pacifier)
Blandine: "The Dreamlady!" (bounds around happily) "But I hear she's really quiet all the time. Someone should go share some candy with her. Its' not nice to be lonely all the time, it makes you shy and weird if you don't have friends. I'll convince her to play at the sing-along."
David: "He's another Old Man. I hear he's sick too. I should probably get him to the hospital and fix him up!"
Dominique: "I don't get it. What's Justice, and what's blindness, and why is Ms. Dommy all gloomy and blind now? Huh? Someone tell me please!" (she jumps up and down excitedly)
Eli: "He makes things, right? Do you think he'll make me an original Barbie doll? I'd like a special Barbie to love and cuddle and play with forever. Ask him won't you, pleeeeease?" (she bats her long eyelashes guilelessly) "I'd do it myself, but Lucy said I can't play with Eli, because he's an... an... Exele or something like that."
Haagenti: "'Genti genti bo benti, fe fi fo fentil, be bop be benti, 'Genti!" (giggles girlishly)
Lilith: "Oh! She's like Eve!" (looks perplexed) "But humans aren't angels, so how do they become Archyangels? Could someone tell me that please?"
Malphas: (confused, lost look) "But Malphas is up here! How can he be down there and up here! My head's all spinny!"
Novalis: "She's Zaddy's Mommy, like Kobal is my Daddy, but Zaddy doesn't like Novy, I don't know why. Anyways, we'll get all that sorted out, and then I'll ask Novy to come help me with my garden. Andrea said that the plants in the garden used to be Novy's, so she can help me best with them, I think."
Nybbas: "I don't like Nybbas! He makes those icky adult shows that take away people's innocence and takes all the good cartoons off the air. He's the reason I had to make my Concerned Censor attunement, or else he'd be fouling the minds of children left and right!"
Ogiel: "Ooo! I have my Ogiel doll!" (runs to her Toybox and comes back with her Ogiel and wind-up Laurence dolls) "You see, they do this a lot!" (she bops the two dolls together and sighs) "I wish they'd grow up and stop bullying each other!"
Raphael: "I hear she's really smart and she used to be Beth! I hope she comes back. Beth must be lonely without her." (pouts sadly)
Uriel: "He's Purity and I'm Innocence, so I guess that means that we're related! I want to talk to him once this silly fighting is over. Maybe Purity is one of the Words that is under Innocence. Daddy told me that there are Words under each Sup-er-ior, and maybe Purity is under Innocence. I want to find out!"
Vapula: "He's Jean's son! We have to get him back up here so he can change and feed his Daddy." (nods)
Superior Opinions (Others):
Adam: "He's Eve's friend, right? Is he an Archyangel too, like Eve and Lili? How come he and Eve don't talk to each other?"
Asmodeus: "I like games! Let's play!"
Beelzebub: "His name is too hard to say! I heard that he's one of those Kyriotates, and Daddy once told me that he has the Word of War. What's War?"
Fleurity: "I like him. He helps people, like I do. Maybe we can get him to come here and he can help me with the hospital!" (smiles excitedly)
Gabriel: "Who's Gabriel? Is he one of those old people that Daddy talks about, like this Michael guy and Metatron and Yves? I don't know who they were, but Daddy seems to like them and maybe Gabriel is one of them?"
Jordi: "What's a Jordi?"
Mariel: "Oh, she scares Issy!" (angry pout) "Issy screams about Mariel, and calls her Ob-liv-ion and the Void! Keep her away from Issy!"
Soldekai: "Malakim don't really act innocent, but maybe Soldekins is a nice Malakite? Can I meet him?"
White Star: "Twinkle twinkle little star..."
