Demon of Fashion: Well, she used to be able to detect precisely what an individual's particular fashion weakness would be - good shoes, nice car, a particular favorite color - and get an automatic Geas/3 if she was able to indulge that person's weakness.  That went away; so did her +(Corporeal Forces) to any attempt to detect celestials or ethereals solely from their dress.  She can still make anything look good on her, though... except, of course, that she's only got a cow vessel.

Rites: She used to get 3 Essence/day from her ability to set fashion trends; now she gets only one.

Discord: Bound/6

Sloane understands the score quite well; her former boss has marked her for death.  In any other society, the Lilim would be wondering why a Demon Prince would pick such a baroque method of execution; in this one, such behavior is its own excuse, at least if you're Nybbas.  Not that this is more of a comfort, but there you go.

Not that the Lilim would ever admit it, but there is a case to be made that her current 'reassignment' to a Prince incapable of either helping her maintain her Word or keeping out of her way while she does it herself was not entirely, well, uncalled-for.  Small screw-ups can mean demotion; medium screw-ups can mean death.  Big screw-ups are what the Game is for.  But the really, really big screw-ups - well, that's when Demon Princes try to be creative.

Allowing the Host to blow up every Tether to the Media in Denmark counts as a really, really big screw-up.  Granted, there weren't all that many to begin with, but still, it was a whole country, and the disaster could all be traced back to one Lilim Captain not being where she was supposed to be at precisely the wrong moment in time.  That was the 'why' for the death sentence; the being assigned to Saminga part was for allowing forty-five seconds of dead time to take place on the air.

The binding into a cow part was just Nybbas amusing himself.

So... she's a cow.  She's a famous cow, to be sure - part of a big ad campaign - but still a cow that can't abandon her vessel.  But she still needs to support her Word.  And the Word of her new boss.  And stay clear of his dissonance conditions.  And keep her vessel's current job, which happens to be the mascot for a health-food store chain.  And do all of this without the use of either hands or mouth.  As you can guess, by now Sloane's a bit - well, more like exceptionally - frantic about it all, as the first few Word-Forces have started to waste away.  Sloane's not yet at the point where she'll be just about ready to make a deal - any deal - that'll save her life, but that day can't be all that far off.

Now, believe it or not Saminga is not ignorant of the fact that Nybbas is essentially using him as a proxy executioner's block.  The Prince of Death is dumb, but he isn't that dumb.  Unfortunately for Sloane, Saminga is actually quite keen to see how long it takes for a Word-bound to die from not being able to promote her Word, so this was more of an odd sort of gift than anything else.  Of course, should Sloane somehow manage to serve both Death and Fashion while remaining a cow, obviously the experiment would have to be put on the shelf for a while.  Business before pleasure, after all.

The question is, would it be more amusing to let Sloane know this, or not?

Special Note: Alternatively, Sloane could have been reassigned to Ronald, Prince of Cows.  In this case, she would not be under effective sentence of death; the relief would allow her natural personality (only moderately bootlicking and barely catty) to reassert itself.  She would mostly be scheming to have the Bound Discord removed.  Ronald, of course, would have no idea of why he was given Sloane, and would insist that the Lilim make cows fashionable.
