If you want to know what Nybbas really thinks of human cultures, well, contemplate Chip. Contemplate Chip's costume (a deliberate rip-off of Japanese stage license re the original ninja). Contemplate Chip's weapons (a deliberate mish-mash of various cultural weapons, chosen for their inherent coolness factor). Contemplate Chip's combat style (another mish-mash, chock full of ridiculously overdone moves and kicks). Contemplate Chip's regular speech patterns (although, to be fair, Balseraphs have been known to spout gibberish anyway).
Do all of this, and know true evil.
Well, Chip would like to be that vapidly badass, but he isn't there quite yet (he's getting close, though). Being the Demon of Ninjas is fun: aside from everything else, he can make a Malakite grit his or her teeth at a distance of up to and including half a mile. He can also whack them about (in a flashy yet effective manner) once they come in screaming for his Heart, which is even better, especially when one's working for the Media. There's so much flash that opponents don't usually notice that there's actual substance backing it up until it's too late: Chip is good at fighting. It's just that, by any objective standard, he shouldn't be.
Chip's Word isn't quite as powerful as it used to be - bad ninja movies are thankfully not a hot property right now - but he has his niche, and he's staying there. His current Role is starting to degrade in status and level, which merely means that he's working on getting a new one. When you're Word-bound, you're playing at a whole different level than the peons anyway. As long as people are willing to watch movies where the 'hero' (for no good reason) kills people with his or her bare hands, Chip will remain a player.
Personality? Just what you'd expect from a Balseraph of the Media: Chip treats the truth as something that happens to other people, and he can make it stick. He considers it amazingly nice of him that he'll let other people ooh and ah over his magnificent coolness, and he'll inflict his philosophy of life (half dimly remembered snatches of various Eastern philosophies, half parodies of same, all gibberish) at every opportunity or none.
He also yells "HI...YAHH!" a lot.
