Capsule Description: in ancient times the Uraeus was among the most minor spirits serving the gods of Egypt (usually as a messenger). Since the Purity Crusade they have taken on new importance. Many are now counselors to the surviving gods - several attend Isis herself - or diplomats who treat with other pantheons. The craftiest and most powerful deal with Hell. Despite the obvious ambition of many individuals no Uraeus has risen to godhood as of this writing. There is strong evidence that the Heliopolitans monitor upstarts very closely and kill those who show signs of succeeding too well.

Reported by: Sinuhe

Corporeally Researched by: Michael Walton

Corporeal Reference: Egyptian Mythology by Paul Hamlyn

Capsule Description of Reporter: Sinuhe was a noted physician who lived during the reign of Ahkenaten. By some accounts Sinuhe was a Soldier of Thoth. There are also rumors suggesting that he was the rightful heir to Ahkenaten’s predecessor. He spent the last years of his life in exile under the reign of Horemheb. It was during this time that he wrote his memoirs and his treatises on medicine and cosmology.
