The Publishing Committee of the Celestial Cryptozoology Society has now begun to take submissions for its ongoing Field Spotter's Guide. Working in concert with the Society of St. Lazarus, the Steering Committee for Litheroy's Abbey and the Ivory Council, the Publishing Committee will attempt to formally catalog some of the more interesting denizens of the three planes. Given the nature of this project, and its relevance to the Host, submissions from those working in the field are not only permitted, but actively encouraged.
A copy of the template to be used for submissions is here; a sample submission is to be found here. In general, submissions should involve the uncanny, unusual, unknown and unexplained: while submissions of the more popularized types of cryptozoological entities will not be rejected, researchers are encouraged to provide information on types that might otherwise be overlooked. Denizens of all three planes are of interest, although corporeal entities will be the primary focus of the Guide. If a given entry has some sort of mundane corporeal record (ranging from historical records to popular fiction), please include a reference for later researchers. As always, reference materials 'salvaged' from various inimical agencies are also welcome, subject of course to approval by the Inquisition.
Welcome aboard, and good hunting!
- Stephen, Malakite Vassal of Destiny IST Revelations, Angel of Cryptozoology, Chairman of the Publishing Committee for the Celestial Cryptozoological Society.
