St. Mark's Eve
This relic appears as a wooden icon that portrays Eve at the gates of the Garden of Eden, clad in nothing except the traditional fig leaf and some strategically placed tresses of long hair. The icon is signed with the name 'St. Mark'. Precisely which St. Mark was responsible for this relic-icon is unknown (certainly all of the ones currently in Heaven and thus available for questioning have been exonerated). Whoever he was, he apparently had a certain low sense of humor and a strong dislike for pomposity.
The relic acts as a Talisman (Dodge), but with a wrinkle: anyone who attacks while carrying it will never do corporeal damage to living targets. Instead, all damage will be done to the nonliving item that's nearest to the target. This usually means that a few rounds of combat will be enough to strip an opponent of weapons, armor ... and clothing.
Currently, an 18 Force Seraph Mistress of Peace possesses St. Mark's Eve, and she has been quite adamant about keeping it until Novalis tells her otherwise. It's uncertain which is an odder visual image: the effects of a combat with her, or just the fact that there's a Seraph of Flowers that can enter into 'combat' in the first place...
