Strategy:
This deck was played by Aaron Medwin at the New York City Kotei this year. It's fairly self-explanatory, as far as Fox goes, but has a number of interesting 'tech' cards.
Shiba Raigen is there to protect your shugenja. Load down Diro with the followers and send him in with Bodyguards. Plus they can jump in the way of Kolat Assassins and Masters, and Tests of Honor. Face of Ninube worked very well as an all-around "set up a better hand" card.
Essence of Air is, without doubt, the best Fox tech out there. With a Diro or Ryosei you have a 4-5 province advantage on your opponent, and with all the free and cheap cards in the deck, it can create a massive rush in the midgame. The other big Spell tech is Black Wind from the Soul, which lets you play like the old LSD philosophy... "take a couple provinces in battle early, then set back and let the rest fall." Black Wind is an excellent finishing blow to defensive decks, and Aaron scored 4 consecutive Black Wind victories leading up to the finals at NY Kotei.
