Make "Your Daily Dose Links Page" Your Home Page
Both Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer come programmed to take you first to their respective home pages whenever you log on to the Internet. However, they can easily be reprogrammed to go to a site of your own choosing, instead. Why not make "Daily Dose" that site? Here's how:
Instructions for Netscape Navigator, version 3.x or lower:
- Select "Options" from the Menu Bar.
- Select the Tab Item "Appearance".
- In "Startup" section, under "Browser Starts With", select "Home Page Location" option.
- Type (or copy-and-paste) http://www.stormloader/markstein/daily.htm
- Click "OK" at the bottom of the page.
Instructions for Netscape Communicator, Navigator Version 4.0 or higher:
- Select "Edit" from the Menu Bar.
- Select the Tab Item "Preferences".
- Select category "Navigator" in the menu on the left-hand side.
- In the category "Home Page" on the right-hand side, type (or copy-and-paste) http://www.stormloader/markstein/daily.htm
- Click "OK" at the bottom of the page.
Instructions for Microsoft Internet Explorer:
- Select "View" from the Menu Bar.
- Select the category "Options".
- Select the Tab Item "Navigation".
- In the "Address" field of the "Customize" category, type (or copy-and-paste) http://www.stormloader/markstein/daily.htm
- Click "OK".
And that's all there is to it! Now, the next time you log on to the Intenet, you'll be right in position to swing through your favorite daily stops, before getting down to serious business.
BACK to "Daily Dose" Links.
