Racing Guidelines for the 2004/2005 Race Season
Protective EquipmentAll Racers must wear a chest protector, gloves, boots above the ankles, DOT approved helmet, eye protection and knee and shin pads.BibsAll racers must wear a bib that is issued by Kids Pro Ice. Your number will be issued to you at he time of registration and is yours for the season. The bibs must be turned in at the end of the season. Each driver will be entitled to their number from the previous season, but we reserve the right to reissue the number if your membership application is not received by the time allowed.Race Day Schedule8:00-9:00 Registration8:00-9:00 Safety Tech Inspection (must pass safety tech prior to hot laps) 9:00-10:30 Hot laps 10:30-11:00 Drivers meeting (All racers and parents must attend) 11:00- Racing begins Note-This schedule is subject to change depending on how many entries Drivers meetingThe driver and pit crew must attend this meeting. We will be giving out a lot of information about the race at hand, upcoming races and any issues affecting the group. Racing procedures and flags will also be discussedRace ProcedureEvery driver is to be prepared to race at their scheduled time. Please stage is your order as soon as you know your assignment. We will only allow 2 min for drivers to stage once the heat has been at the line, and then the race will be run. If you have mechanical trouble, send someone to the line and let the staging coordinator know.1. Find your race assignment and stage

Traction and Control productsTrack studs can be 3/8 inch penetration over highest common lug on track. Ski carbides can be any length with 60 degree carbide with 5/8 penetrationWarm Up StandsYou must have a shielded warm up stand in place prior to cleaning out or warming up your sled, in the pit area or on the starting line.RestartsWe will restart any race when 2 Drivers are off their sleds. We reserve the right to restart any race. We will make mistakes, please bare with us. The drivers will stager start in the order of their last completed lap.Tear DownKitty Cat and 120 sleds are subject to tear down if in a final. The sled will be disassembled and inspected in the presence of the owner and the tech officials. Any sled not conforming to the ISR or association rules will be penalized as follows; The driver of that sled will forfeit the trophy for that race and will be suspended for two races following that race. All points accumulated by that sled in any class it ran will be lost.AwardsTrophies will be awarded for the top 6 places in all finals, sportsman awards will be given to everyone else. Each racer will also get a Goodie Bag with treats. We are always looking for donations for the goodie bags, so if you know someone willing to help out please contact the, an bring it to the next raceEnd of Season BanquetWe will have an awards banquet at the end of the season.
