1) you must have a homepage. i've had people ask me many, many times if they can have a dragon, even though they don't have a homepage. this is quite a silly question because basically, where would you put the thing? it'd just be a file gathering dust in your hardrive. so you do need a homepage.

2) your homepage must be SEPERATE from your normal page and must be UP and RUNNING before you even think about sending in this application. any form that contains a link to an incomplete page will be deleted. plus, your page must have some content. i don't want it to just say, "i'm expecting a dragon from here." explain your persona a bit (i love to read people's background histories!), and give your weyr a pretty background set, or some music.

3) there must be a working link somewhere on your page back to kess weyr. i don't care what form of a link it is, a banner or whatever, it just needs to be there.

4) the only thing that i don't want on your pages is hardcore pornography or abuse of any kind. other than that, i don't really care.

5) you may only impress one dragon per clutch. the pern rules must be followed, as set by anne mccaffrey.

6) make sure, on the form, that you have a working email address. if not, i won't be able to send you anything.

7) when making a persona, be creative. no perfect people with violet eyes and white hair, no elves, no sailor moon girls, no menolly people with 20 firelizards, no power puff girls, no people raised in the weyr because their parents died, no shapeshifters. pernese people are NORMAL people like you and me. you can even desribe yourself if you want. another thing, if you are a girl, you DO NOT HAVE TO APPLY AS A GIRL if you don't want to. your chances of impression are greater if you create a male persona, in reality. just something to think about.

8) when submitting the form, click it ONLY once! it will send, believe me. if i receive 5 persona sheets from the same person as the result of rapid clicking, i will not be pleased. a warning box will most likely come up, warning that it is being submitted via email. ignore it, because the only person viewing the sheet will be me. just send it away.
