Chocolate Thunder from Down Under". . . . . . Underground
Detroit that is. Straight from the heart of the city, I’ve been singing since age 7,
professionally since age 15. I have traveled extensively in my singing career
as a nightclub performer in Atlanta, GA, one of the "New Supremes" in
Madrid, SPAIN, and much more. I have a tremendous passion for singing and
performing and love to please the audience. As one fan put it, " Watching
you perform is like seeing a 'LIVE' concert ! " I have a gospel music upbringing
and never miss an opportunity to get together with my family to "blow some
serious old gospel". (Lead Guitar/Lead & Backing
Vocals) INDIVIDUAL BIO YET TO BE WRITTEN (Harmonica) I have been playing for the last 35 years. I've played many sessions
with various artists in the Detroit area. I was a side-man for Gene Duty and
played regularly with Willie D. Warren. I've tried to be the best complement to
a very talented, diverse band. (Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals) INDIVIDUAL BIO YET TO BE WRITTEN Ron (The Doc) Teno (Drums/Lead Vocals) I've been playing drums since 1965. Back then, I got together with
some guys and formed a band called "The Fragments". We recorded one
record and played the local teen nightspots until 1967 after which I played for
other local bands until 1968. In 1971, I married my childhood sweetheart and
dropped out of the scene. In 1993, I met Dan Methric and formed a band with him
and Tony Denardo called "Fat Belly Brown". Together, we played local
clubs in the Detroit area until 1996. In May of 1997, I joined "The
Detroit Underground Band". As far as vocals go, I plan to do a lot more
singing with the band in the future…maybe even some writing. Thank you everyone
for your support. God Bless You All ! Bill "L Z" Dybek) (Lead/Rhythm
Guitar) I started playing guitar in 1970 while in the Air Force. After
coming back home I played in a few local rock bands in the 70's, but my heart
was always in the Motown Sound and the Blues. After a long layoff and a divorce
I started playing again. I started the Detroit Underground Band to fill the
void in my soul. After a few false starts, we finally gelled together into the
Band's present form. I haven't looked back since. Don't Forget to Sign the Guest List http://www.stormloader.com/detundergrnd/guestbook.html CLICK HERE FOR: BAND BIO
