| I have been a Street
fan for a long time. My first memory of the Street was of the time when
Valerie
Barlow was electrocuted in 1971. This probably makes me the senior
citizen of the group; hence the nick of Ena. My love for the characters
is one of the most appealing aspects of the show.
FAVORITE CHARACTERS:
Ena Sharples and Minnie
Caldwell and their conversations in the Snug
FAVORITE NEW CHARACTER:
(Sir) Roy Cropper!!!
LEAST LIKED CHARACTERS:
Mike Baldwin and Terry
Duckworth. I detest seeing sleezy people get their own way.
CHARACTERS THAT I MISS THE MOST:
Stan and Hilda Ogden, Eddie
Yeats.
FUNNIEST RECENT MOMENTS:
When Reg got his toupe
and the looks and comments from Curly.
When Roy was talking
to Alma and said that he was not a train spotter.
HOBBIES/INTERSTS:
IRC and the #coro_street
channel, as age and what you look like do not stop you from meeting people.
Gardening, as it is fool-proof
in this part of Canada.
Anything else I can put my
hand to as I am a frugal Scot and would rather do it myself than pay someone
else to do it. |
