Looking for a
Way to Thank a Teacher?
The Educational
Foundation of the Chesters sponsors the Thank-A-Teacher program which can
help make your end-of-year giving easier and more
meaningful.
The Thank-A-Teacher
program allows you to recognize teachers with a tax-deductible donation
in their name. The teacher will receive an acknowledgement card indicating
that your family has made a donation honoring her/his work on your child’s
behalf. Individual donation amounts are not disclosed. In January
and again at the end of school, teachers will be advised as to the amount
of their individual Thank-A-Teacher funds.
(Please note that some PTA representatives
may be organizing a class Thank-A-Teacher donation as an end-of-year gift
for your child’s teacher(s). That will be coordinated by the PTA Rep.

Teachers for whom the Foundation receives
a donation by June 14, 2002, will receive gift acknowledgments before the
end of school. All others will be acknowledged during summer vacation.
