CROP CIRCLE HOAX

Unfortunately, the importance of real UFO sightings are diminished because of the large number of hoaxers. For years, even the experts believed that crop circles were formed by alien space ships, and could not be created by humans (especially at night). After the hoaxers came forward, they demonstrated that with just some basic surveying knowledge, crop circles could be (and were) created by humans. In addition, to add to the UFO theory, other hoaxers launched balloons at night, complete with remote controls and blinking lights, to create the illusion of an alien spacecraft near the crop circles. Most UFO sightings are misidentifications, hoaxes or fables, but a small percentage of sightings still remain unexplained.
